Game Recap: San Jose Sharks VS Tampa Bay Lightning
The San Jose Sharks came into the game strong scoring 2 goals in the first period. The first goal of the game was scored by Logan Couture at 9:27 into the first. Less than a minute later, at 10:01 into the first, Joe Pavelski scored a quick second goal for the Sharks. Victor Hedman came back with the first Lightning goal of the night just before the end of the first at 16:13, ending the period with the Sharks leading by one.
End of First Period: 2-1 Sharks
Evander Kane opened the second period with another Sharks goal. 30 seconds after Kane’s goal, Mikhail Sergachev retaliated with a goal for the Lightning. The remainder of the period was held at a stalemate with no more scores from either team.
End of Second Period: 3-2 Sharks
