In the Tampa Bay vs St. Louis game tonight, the defense stole the show for both teams right off the bat in the first period. Defensive plays and blocks on goals being the main points of the game, this pattern continued into overtime. Shots continued to come as well as continued to be blocked throughout the period. Binnington blocked a total of 39 goals by the end of the game and Vasy blocked a total of 32. The game began to look like we would be heading into a shootout but with less than a minute left in overtime, Brayden Schenn scored a game-winning goal for the St. Louis Blues with Colton Parayko and Vladimir Tarasenko assisting.
