Tampa Bay Lightning VS Ottawa Senators Game Recap
Kicking off tonight’s game, the Lightning got the first score of the night. Yanni Gourde scored the first goal of the evening with Kucherov and Point assisting on the play. However, just before the end of the period, Ottawa came back with a score of their own. Brady Tkachuck scored the first goal for the Senators of the night with DeMelo and Pageau assisting. As a result, the first period came to an end with a tied game of 1.

As the game started into the second period, the Lightning took charge of the game, gaining an offensive advantage. Mikhail Sergachev scored the second Lightning goal of the night, giving Tampa a one-goal lead on the game. Kucherov and Coburn assisted on the play. Then, Brayden Point followed up with another Lightning goal with assists from Gourde and Kucherov. The second ended with the Ottawa Senators down by 2.
End of the Second Period: 3-1 Tampa Bay Lightning
Heading into the last period of the game, Tampa Bay held a two-goal advantage. Although, for the first goal of the period, Max Veronneau came back for Ottawa with another goal. Balcers and Wolanin assisted on the play. However, Tampa Bay followed with two more goals before the end of the game. First, Yanni Gourde scored a goal with Coburn and Sergachev assisting. Then, Steven Stamkos ended with the last goal of the evening with Joseph and Palat assisting on the play.
